Kenny Greene was a singer from the R&B group Intro. He died of AIDS complications in 2001.

Kenny Greene was the lead singer of INTRO. He wrote songs for Mary J Blige, Soul 4 Real, and Will Smith to name a few well known artists. Intro's members are Kenny Greene, Jeff Sanders, and Clinton "Buddy" Wike. The band's name is an acronym, standing for Innovative New Talent Reaching Out. Throughout his talented career, Kenny provided backing vocals for Father MC, Tyrese and Cam'Ron. He also wrote many of the songs on Mary J. Blige's multi-platinum debut CD, "What's The 411?" and co-produced those tracks with Dave "Jam" Hall. In 1997, The music group, 98° recorded a song co-written by Kenny titled "I Wanna Love You". This song is listed on their self-titled CD.
Intro released its debut self-titled album in 1993 to much critical and popular acclaim. It went to #11 on Billboard's R&B album chart. Kenny and Dave were singled out for their songwriting talent. The duo tied with Jimmy Jam and Terry Lewis for ASCAP's award for R&B Songwriter of the Year. In 1995, INTRO released their second album titled, "New Life". Although sales weren't as impressive as the debut album, the group received positive reviews for the album's mature sound. The group recorded a track, "I'm the One Who Loves You", that was produced by Stevie Wonder. This song was compiled on the Curtis Mayfield tribute album. Intro's music can also be heard on the soundtrack for Jason's Lyric when the group worked with Black Men United (BMU), recording "U Will Know". The group made a television appearance, performing a cover of Marvin Gaye's "What's Going On" on an episode of New York Undercover. In July of 2001, Kenny admitted his bisexual lifestyle and subsequent AIDS medical condition.
