Kenneth Hamilton

Kenneth Hamilton is a Scottish pianist, known for his virtuoso performances of Romantic music. Hamilton's playing is characterised by spontaneity, dazzling technique and the cultivation of a wide variety of keyboard colour. Hamilton is also well-known as an incisive and witty lecturer on music, and is the author of Liszt: Sonata in B-minor (Cambridge University Press, 1996) and the editor of The Cambridge Companion to Liszt (Cambridge University Press, 2005).
