Kenneth Eng
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Kenneth Eng is a controversial Asian-American journalist and novelist. He has written three books, entitled Dragons: Lexicon Triumvirate, Reincarnation and The 0th Dimension. Dragons: Lexicon Triumverate and Reincarnation are in print by the subsidy publisher DNA Press;[1] The 0th Dimension is available through FurPress, though no publisher is cited. He claims to be the youngest published science-fiction author in America.[2]
Eng is more widely known as a columnist for the AsianWeek newspaper in California with a column entitled "God of the Universe". His texts were repeatedly criticized for being racist, and after the column entitled "Why I Hate Blacks", published February 23, 2007 (which included statements such as: "I would argue that blacks are weak-willed. They are the only race that has been enslaved for 300 years. It's unbelievable that it took them that long to fight back"); the criticism against Eng and AsianWeek became so harsh that the paper had to fire Eng. AsianWeek published a front page apology in its February 28th issue.
He has also written for Philosophy Today and Bewildering Stories.
