Ken "KG" Cunningham

Kenneth George "KG" Cunningham (born July 26, 1939 in Adelaide, South Australia) is a former Australian state cricketer, football umpire and current radio presenter.

Cunningham had a first-class cricket career spanning from the 1960/61 season to 1973/74 with the South Australian State cricket team in the Sheffield Shield.

A left-hand batsman, he was part of the side that won the Shield in 1963/64, and went on to play 97 first-class matches in a solid career, averaging 37 with the bat.

Following his cricket career, he became a radio presenter with FIVEaa on the FIVEaa Sports Show, co-hosting with Graham Cornes.

He collapsed from ischaemic heart disease in October 2006, and underwent angioplasty. [1]
