Ken Jay, former drummer for Static-X, started the band alongside Wayne Static in 1994. Ken Jay sat on drums through two of the bands first albums, Wisconsin Death Trip & Machine, but before Static-X could begin recording their third album, Shadow Zone, Ken Jay left the band due to musical and political differences. Shortly after his departure, he joined Godhead as a replacement drummer for a brief time. He has kept out of the media limelight since his departure.
