Kemblesville, Pennsylvania

Kemblesville is an unincorporated community located in Franklin Township, Southern Chester County, in southeastern Pennsylvania.
The roots of the community date back to the late 1700s, and Benjamin Franklin is thought to have owned property within the current town limits. Currently, the community houses a number of historic homes, along with a gas station, a Methodist church, and a pizza parlor. The US Postal Service maintains a modern post office on the outskirts of the town. The community derives its name from the Kimble family, who settled the area in colonial times.
The community is located 15 minutes north of Newark, Delaware. While the area remains relatively rural, increasing development pressures are slowly bringing change to the community.
