Kemal İzzet (born 29 September 1980) is an Turkish-English professional footballer currently playing for Colchester United.

Kemal İzzet is the younger brother of Mustafa İzzet (Muzzy Izzet), the now retired ex-Birmingham City and Leicester City player. Kem has long lived with the comparisons to his famous brother and, like his brother started his career in England with Premier League club Charlton Athletic. He didn't last long withering in the Reserves so his move to Colchester certainly put his faltering career back on track.

Since his arrival he has been named twice his club's Young Player of the Year, which signifies the best under-23 player at the club. A strong minded midfielder with an eye for goal, the Colchester youngster had a nightmare last season when picking up a terrible injury, just like fellow team-mate Karl Duguid.

Now fully recovered he hopes to play a big part in Colchester's first season in the Football League Championship.
