Kelly Palmer

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Kelly Palmer is the name of a character in the CBS sitcom The King of Queens that has appeared in 31 episodes since 1999. She is played by actress Merrin Dungey.

Kelly is Deacon's soft-spoken wife, the mother of his two kids, Kirby and Major, and Carrie's best friend. Kelly has issues with getting along with her husband's mom, as seen in an early episode. She has left Deacon twice throughout the series, once in the third season after Deacon secretly saw his old friend Angie, and in the fourth season when, while talking to Carrie, said that he needed 'tentpoles' (strong memories to build a relationship around) to keep his marriage stable. Her second leaving may have had something to do with Merrin Dungey's taking on the role of Francie Calfo on ABC's Alias, and when Kelly returned in season 6, Francie had been written out of the show.

Something brainless. What's that thriller where the Earth starts to lose its gravitational pull?
