Kelly (tool)

A Kelly (also known as Kelly Forceps, Mosquito and Rochester) is a type of hemostat usually made of stainless steel. It is floor grade so it is not used for surgery. They come either curved or straight. Its name comes from its original manufacturer. The "Mosquito" variant of the tool is more delicate and have smaller, finer tips. A similar tool is the Carmalt which is heavier and longer.
