Kellie Shanygne Williams

Kellie Shanygne Williams (born on 22 March 1976 in Washington, D.C., USA) is an American actress best known for her role as Laura Winslow on the television series Family Matters. Kellie was on the show from its original air date in late 1989 to the summer of 1998. After the show, Kellie began acting in the ABC television show What about Joan. She also starred in the urban teen film Ride in 1999 and In The Mix in 2005. Several appearances on other t.v. shows followed. She had a recurring role on Moesha from 1996-1999 as Moesha's cousin Sharisse. She also has appeared on Girlfriends, The Parkers, and she posed nude for King Magazine in 1997, but the pictorial was never published, because the producers of Family Matters did not allow it. Kellie also has a great number of other roles.
In November 2006, Kellie moved back to Washington, DC and and has started a new fine arts program for youth at Howard University's Children's Theater. She is a member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc.
