Kelambakkam

Kelambakkam is a rapidly growing suburb of Chennai in Tamil Nadu state in India. It is situated on the Old Mamallapuram Road (also known as the IT corridor) and is about 35 KMs from Chennai. This town forms the junction of the Vandalur-Kelambakkam Outer Ring Rroad (Connecting the Old Mamallapuram Road with the Grand Southern Trunk Road). Siva Shankar Baba's (Sivashankar_baba) Rama Rajya community living center is located in Kelambakkam. Sushil Hari International Residental School, run by Baba, is located within the community premises.
Kelambakkam has a high floating population consisting of students of Hindustan College of Engineering, Anand Institute of Technology, and other colleges. Kelambakkam also attracts a lot of office-goers from the nearby IT/BPO companies.
