[edit] Thoughts
The easiest way to deal with your opponent when he is right is to simply ignore him and continue being wrong. - Keith D. Tyler ¶ (AMA) 19:13, 4 December 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Wikiquotes
"Adding verifiable POV's is what we are here to do, determining the "objective truth" isn't."
- User:Sam Spade, at [1]
"Another key to the problem here, {name of contentious editor}. You don't see yourself as having an opinion; you see yourself as bearing the Truth. You perceive your biases as neutral." - WP:TIGERS, a Very Good Read for those who have failed to have their personal opinions define Wikipedia articles.

[edit] WikiNotes
After largely creating the articles for Fiestaware and Uranium glass, I appear to be the Wikipedia expert on housewares containing uranium.
I have been accused of both deletionism and inclusionism. I tend to get the latter more than the former. I claim independent status.
I am in favor of the inclusion of articles on micronations. For some reason, my defense of this leads some to believe I am nothing but a kook, or even to make the amazing determination that I am a sockpuppet.
I am a Members' Advocate. I don't have tons of time for this, and it tends to have a high burnout factor.
I had two original articles appear on Template:Did you know within barely two months of getting involved with WP. (None since then, alas.)
I became seriously involved with WP in May 2004.
I formerly administered a MediaWiki system for my workplace to serve as a company knowledge base.
I am #16 on User:Georgia guy's list of Wikipedians, making me his 7th least liked person on the project. (He has since resigned.)
I am of the opinion that WP policy changes too much, too fast, and threatens the notion of objective administration by constantly injecting lots of subjective determinations into policy.
I think that WP:RS should be a firm guideline rather than a hard-and-fast policy, and that where RS are not available for a known subject or POV, clearly attributed and disclosed sub-RS sources should be permittable.
I am in favor of substantial presentation of alternative viewpoints in paranormal articles, as anything else would not be NPOV and would not provide fair credence to a significant viewpoint. This often involves opening the door to sources that would in any other context not pass RS. As with micronations (above), this position has led to me being branded a kook or sockpuppet.
[edit] You know you've been Wikipeding too much when:
- You become frustrated with websites that don't mark broken links in red
- You find yourself using double quotes instead of <i> tags in regular typing
- You're really, really tired of needing to remember <p> tags
- You hear that Hunter S. Thompson has died, and you run to see if it's been mentioned there yet.
- You're astonished at just how much copyrighted and non-commercial-use only material is out there compared to truly free material, and wish more people knew about Creative Commons
- You begin a personal crusade to install MediaWiki to the ends of the earth.

[edit] Articles I care for
I consider myself a steward for many of the articles below, tending them so as to help them grow.
This list is hopelessly out of date and usually will be, since I usually just work on articles, not tally them.
