[edit] Neutrality?

The page as currently written does not appear to be from a neutral point of view - perhaps it can be edited to make it more encyclopaedic. "Refused to go" is one such statement - perhaps this was written by a political enemy wishing to make political capital out of the situation? Rhyddfrydol 19:34, 15 September 2006 (UTC)

Replaced the phrase 'to go' with 'to resign'. Whether the word 'refused' should be used or not depends on whether he was asked to resign. If he was asked to resign, then 'refused' is the right word - otherwise perhaps 'did not resign' could be written. Nish81 18:03, 23 September 2006 (UTC)

He was asked by the opposition leader to resign, not the same thing as being asked officially to resign. I've replaced with "Fitchett rejected Cllr Reed's call to resign" along with other edits and removed POV tag. Fanx 07:24, 4 January 2007 (UTC)
