Keith Yandle (born September 9, 1986 in Boston, Massachusetts) is an American ice hockey defenceman.
Keith currently plays for the National Hockey League's Phoenix Coyotes affiliate, the San Antonio Rampage. He appeared in his first NHL game on October 11, 2006 against the Detroit Red Wings and logged 20 minutes of ice time in the game.
Yandle attended Cushing Academy and was slated to attend the University of New Hampshire where his brother Brian Yandle played from 2002-06 and currently plays for the Phoenix Roadrunners of the ECHL. Instead he decided to play for the Moncton Wildcats of the Quebec Major Junior Hockey League (QMJHL), also known as "The Q." Playing in 66 games, he tallied 25 goals and 59 assists for 84 points. The Wilcats won the QMJHL championship and Yandle was named league MVP.
Yandle has seen action in seven games for the Phoenix Coyotes this season, recording two assists. He recently participated in the AHL All-Star game as a member of the PlanetUSA team.
