Keith R. Wegeman

Keith R. Wegeman (1929-1973) was an American ski jumper who competed in the early 1950s. He finished tied for 12th in the individual large hill competiton at the 1952 Winter Olympics in Oslo.

A native of Colorado, Wegeman was on the national championships ski team at the University of Denver. After college and his career, he became a ski instructor and later host of a television series entitled Ski Tips in the early 1960s after moving to Los Angeles, California. At the 1960 Winter Olympics in Squaw Valley, Wegeman was a technical advisor.

He was posthumously inducted into the Colorado Ski and Snowboard Hall of Fame in 1989.
