Keith Browner is a former American Football defensive end and outside linebacker.

Browner was drafted out of the University of Southern California.

He played in the National Football League between 1984 and 1988 for Tampa Bay, the Raiders, the 49ers and the San Diego Chargers and in Arena Football between 1990 and 1997.

His brother, Joey Browner, also played for the USC Trojans and was one of the top players in the NFL in the 1980s. His son, Keith Browner Jr., plays college football Defensive End for the University of California, Berkeley. Keith, Sr.'s eldest brother, Ross Browner, was elected to the National Football Foundation Hall of Fame in 1999, won the Outland Trophy in 1976, finished fifth in voting for the Heisman Trophy, and holds the school record for his alma mater, Notre Dame. Ross was a first round pick for the NFL's Bengals and played professionally 11 years. All five brothers had outstanding football careers (Notre Dame - Ross, Willard & Jimmy; USC - Joey and Keith) and are commonly known as the "First Family of Football."
