Keith Adams (born November 22, 1979 in Norwood, Massachusetts) is an American football linebacker who is currently a free agent. He most recently played for the Miami Dolphins, and collegiately at Clemson University.
Originally cut by Dallas Cowboys, he was picked up by the Philadelphia Eagles and found a home starting at the weakside linebacker spot in 2005, where he also played in Super Bowl XXXIX. He was picked up by the Panthers as an unrestricted free agent on April 13th, 2006 but was then cut by the team on September 3, 2006 and signed by the Dolphins. He is the son of 15 year NFL veteran Julius Adams.
Starred at linebacker at Clemson University, earning the nickname "The Termite" for his for tenacity and destructive tendencies in opponents' backfields. This moniker would later evolve into "The Terminite" (The Terminator + termite) which was a more accurate reflection of the violent nature of his playing style.
