Keir Nuttall

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Keir Nuttall is a Brisbane guitarist, singer and songwriter. He performs and records in the band of Kate Miller-Heidke, the Brisbane singer-songwriter and Sony-BMG artist, as well as in the progressive rock trio Transport.

Although Kate Miller-Heidke's repertoire consists mainly of her own compositions, she has also recorded or performed some songs written by Keir Nuttall, including her turntable hit Space They Cannot Touch (2004). Nuttall and Miller-Heidke have also written songs together.

As part of Kate Miller-Heidke's concerts Keir Nuttall often performs his comic songs Where Have I Been All Your Life? and Three Word Review, both of which he has recently recorded under the name of 'Frankie Walnut'.

Before joining Transport and Kate Miller-Heidke, Keir Nuttall played in a number of Brisbane bands, including Complicated Game, experimental rock-funk trio More (formed in his home town of Toowoomba but relocated to Brisbane) and 80s covers band Space Invaders.
