[edit] Miscellanea
- This is the first album by Guster that features Brian Rosenworcel on kit drums instead of hand percussion.
- The album went through several working titles including Bitch Magic, Olympia Dukakis and Come Downstairs & Say Hello before the band decided on Keep It Together.
- "Amsterdam", "Ramona", and "Careful" were released as radio singles.
- "Amsterdam" and "Careful" both enjoyed modest radio success. "Amsterdam" peaked at #20 on Billboard's Adult Top 40 chart and "Careful" peaked at #30.
- "I Hope Tomorrow Is Like Today" features Ben Kweller on lead vocals.
- Brian Rosenworcel does back up vocals during the "na na na nas" on "Careful". This is only the second time he has been credited with vocals. On the album Goldfly, in the song "Getting Even" he speaks from a pamphlet regarding Atheism and the Devil, during the underslide guitar solo, and is credited in the album.
