This article is about KDEC the commercial radio station. KDEC is also the ICAO code for Decatur Airport, in Illinois.
KDEC is a commercial radio station broadcasting on both FM and AM in Decorah, Iowa. KDEC-AM (AM-1240) plays classic oldies and Paul Harvey three times a day. Decorah high school sporting events can also be heard on KDEC-AM. KDEC-FM (FM 100.5) is an adult album alternative (AAA) station. Both stations provide local news that covers several area towns. KDEC-FM also broadcasts Iowa Hawkeye sporting events.
