I am basically interested in Cork information and related Irish information. I am most interested when I spot an area that has some brief updates and I then use library and other information to expand. When I last checked on 1st November 2006 I had made about 90 edits but I plan to up this and the most of them being major edits and contributions as listed below.

Music is an area that I have a very veried interest in. I am huuuuuuuuuge Jam fan but not as big of Paul Weller and The Style Council although I have loyally collected every note Weller has ever recorded. Still following the Mod blood in me I feel that I can add to The Who at some stage as I have spotted some POV information there which could do with some careful cleaning.

I make small edits randomly in all types of articles. I have a plan in about 3-4 months to start moving some flamencogroups I like over to English WP.

  • Learn about Infoboxes a little more and be able to use them smoothly as they are definitely IMHO the item that makes WP stand out as a good information source.
  • Learn hotkeys a bit better
  • Find a good Wiki editor.

Music

  • Gary Numan - His Discography needs to be expanded as there is no listing for many of his albums. A mundane enough task but this what WP is about as well expanding information.
  • Paul Weller - Album lists need to be updated
  • Ketama - Translate and expand to make it as good as that in Spanish WP
  • Kiko Veneno - Translate and expand to make it as good as that in Spanish WP
  • I buy a lot of music and when I refer to WP for information I tend to make minor updates from CD covers and notes to song listings for instance.


Misc Comments

  • I would like to start a page for every parish in Cork as the whole city is loaded with history but my tentative library research has not turned up specific books on the topic. I think I may have to dig it out of a lot of other books and piece together.
  • Pictures of specific areas would be good also. For instance Pairc Ui Chaoimh in Cork does not have a picture. I must snap one at some stage and add it.
