KCJJ is 1630 AM in Eastern Iowa. The station is licensed to Iowa City. They broadcast news and comment, sports, and hot adult contemporary music. The station transmits with 10000 watts in stereo.

As of 2006, Tommy Lang is the station's news director, Steve Soboroff is owner and programming director, and Thomas Michael Suter is co-owner and general manager. Steve Soboroff is also known as Steve Bridges, or Captain Steve. He previously was co-owner of KFMH, Muscatine. KFMH is now KBEA. Soboroff purchased the station in 1994 and upgraded the 1000 watt station at 1560 to its present power at 1630. It covers much of Eastern Iowa and Western Illinois. It is one of the few locally owned and operated stations in Eastern Iowa. Captain Steve and Tommy Lang host the mornings. Tommy Lang came to the station after 12 years in the market at KRNA. Kelly Neff does Middays. He has worked in Eastern Iowa for over 30 years. He is also sports director. Tom Suter, also known as Suterman, does a weekend talk show and is a part of the weekday morning show. The station carries the Don and Mike show from WJFK in Washington,D.C. and Nascar. They run a a hot adult comtemporary format at night and on the weekends.
