KBVR (FM)

KBVR FM is the student radio station of Oregon State University, and operates on the carrier frequency of 88.7 FM in Corvallis, Oregon. KBVR was founded in 1966, and celebrated its 40th anniversary in 2006. KBVR is host to many programs: The NickelBlock (sports talk), Happy Death Show (Gothic), and Advance Hours (RPM).
The NickelBlock is continuing its dominance over the Corvallis Airwaves.[citation needed] The show can now be heard Tuesday Nights at 8pm. Nickel said a time change was in order to keep it fresh. Nickel now holds down the middle spot in the KBVR Sports Block. The Host of the show is Nick Lilja. The show is filled with guests from around the country, including Jason Webber from Seattle.
