KBKO (AM)

KBKO (AM) is a Talk station in Santa Barbara, California, broadcasting on 1490 AM. The station is owned by Clear Channel Communications, but is being sold to Gold Coast Media. The station was previously known as KDB, sister to KDB (FM) 93.7, and was once owned by RKO General as part of the Don Lee Network. Recently, the station moved its previous Regional Mexican "Radio Bronco" format to sister station KIST-FM in order to make room for the Talk format previously on KTMS. KTMS must be spun off due to ownership restrictions.
