Kazutoshi Sakurai (桜井和寿 Sakurai Kazutoshi?, real name 櫻井和寿 March 8, 1970 in Tokyo) is a Japanese musician. He composes and writes for almost all the songs of the band Mr. Children.

[edit] Musical Career

Most of the Sakurai's Musical Carrier is done in the Japanese rock band Mr.Children.

In 1995, Sakurai sang with Keisuke Kuwata (From Southern All Stars) for a campaign against AIDS.

In the same year, he animated a radio show called "Music Gambo" on "FM802", as a disc jockey.

A few years ago, He had a health problem that made him retire a few months from all activities in Mr. Children.

In 2006, he sang with a Gaku-MC who is a Japanese rapper. Sakurai and Gaku have known with soccor. The song title is "Te wo Dasuna!" (手を出すな!) whose is NTV's FIFA World Cup broadcasting Program's song.
