Kazik Staszewski
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Kazik Staszewski (born March 12, 1963) is a Polish singer, songwriter, and leader of the band Kult.
Kazik helped found Kult in 1982. Their latest album is 2005's Poligono Industrial.
In 1991, he started a solo career as Kazik with what may be the first Polish rap album "Spalam się" ("I'm burning'). Kazik's latest album is Los się musi odmienić (Fate Must Change), released in 2005.
Kazik is a very popular but somewhat controversial artist in his criticizing of politics — Poland's politics in particular. His songs often comment on daily life, whether that life be of a typical man, a Pole, or the artist....
