KaylahawK (KK) or Katherine Dieu Chi Truong was born on August 23, 1990 in Long Beach City, California, the United States. She is currently a student of Long Beach Polytechnic High School. KK has six older sisters and one twin brother, whom she is older than by twenty-one minutes.

• KK is promintently interested in writing, music, and art. She is currently working on finishing her novel, Ashen Horizon, and is working on her manga Parallel on-and-off. She plays the piano and composes her own music in several genres, but favors playing classical music on her own time when she is not writing her own music.

• KK also has a strong interest in reading. Her favorite genres are action, adventure, and fantasy (which are all covered by Ashen Horizon)

• KK plays video games and conputer games with her twin brother often, which include Super Smash Bros Melee, Mario Kart, Rakion Online, GunBound, and more.

• A large interest of KK's is anime and manga, which are very diverse. Some of her favorites are Air Gear, Full Metal Panic, Bleach, Naruto, Trinity Blood, Prince of Tennis, Mai-HIME, Mahou Sensei Negima, Fushuugi Yugi, and more. She makes wallpapers forum avatars, and forum sigs for fun.

• Most importantly, KK edits and works hard on her site, Angrycode, which covers many of her interests. She has a forum open for anyone to join!

• A skill greatly valued by KK is her ability to write. Writing essays is nothing; writing a story is child's play. Her challenge is to complete her novel and get it finished. Writing music is also fun and yet challenging. She values her imagination greatly, which comes up with a different scenario for her stories daily, so she is never in shortage of ideas for anything.

• KK can draw manga and use Adobe Photoshop adequately. She can also make realistic sketches. However, she despises coloring by hand.

• Adept at playing LINK in Super Smash Bros. She will challenge anyone with that character.

• She can hula-hoop endlessly. Until she probably falls asleep.

[edit] Ashen Horizon

Ashen Horizon is novel that takes place in a setting where two countries, the Valley and the Mountain Kingdom, are at the brink of war. There are people from both sides who are trying to stop it, and others who want to force it. Adari Sandorani is a messenger for the Kingdom who wants to have nothing to do with the war, but is pulled in when Vaidell Willery, a spy for the Valley, takes on a job that partners him with her. Ashen Horizon deals with their story and their path to finding out that both of them and their pasts are more connected with the beginning of the two countries' quarrel than they had thought.

Parallel is a manga. When a strange meteor hits the flagpole of their school, Enders and four others are accidentally pulled into a dangerous secret that they must protect. However, an organization called "Parallel" is out to get them and upset the balance of everything that they know. It's not that simple though, because although "Parallel" may be seeking them out, another faction of the organization is also protecting them. Who can they trust? Who can they tell? To what lengths will "Parallel" fight for them?

Howl Moon is a manga that tells the story of Daicyse, a high school boy who happened to have an encounter with a Dog Spirit that was injured from a fight against an unnatural spirit created by a scientific disaster from Wispwin Company. Dai finds out that he has the ability to Merge; that is, he takes the Dog Spirit into his body. However, this results in numerous encounters with other Mergers like himself, such as a solo group who call themselves Indestructible. As well as trying to find the truth about the Mergers and fighting against unnatural spirits, he must also evade capture from the ominous Wispwin Company, which is bent on finding out the secret of the Mergers and harnessing the power for themselves.

• Loves almost all types of music, but usually despises rap (there are several exceptions)

• PACE kid, but dislikes Calculus (is that even possible?!)
