Kaylar, are a fiction Humanoids featured in the Star Trek universe created by Gene Roddenberry. They inhabit the planet Rigel VII. They are an intelligent primitive people somewhat larger than Earth humans and possess primitive weapons (Swords, Shields, and Spears). Their technology seems to match Earth's Medieval period based on their weapons and architectural construction.
They appeared to be furious fighters as they attacked a United Federation of Planets landing party killing three and severely injuring seven others.
