Kawkawa Lake

Kawkawa Lake is located 2.5km (1 mile) east past the City of Hope in British Columbia Canada. It’s situated between the Coast and Cascade Mountain Ranges and makes for a day-trippers paradise with many outdoor activities and adventures for all to experience.
Kawkawa Lake has many species of fish but is best known for its large Kokanee. Anglers will love fishing early in the spring, as the Kokanee (Land Lock Salmon) can reach up to 3+ lbs.
Kawkawa Provincial Park is on the Lake and has toilets, swimming beach, a grassy play area, park benches and picnic tables, a small dock with a concrete boat launch.
Camp nearby at the Kawkawa Lake Resort and Campground where boats are also welcome. Water sports include; skiing, wake boarding, tubing and jet skiing. There is no Life Guard on Duty so supervision is required. No Boat Rentals are available but visitors can rent a Dune Buggy for Touring in the mountains.
Other activities include hiking through the world famous Othello Tunnels or Hells Gate Air Tram located only 15 minutes from the City of Hope.
