The Kawasaki Ninja ZX-9R is Kawasaki's follow-up to the GPz900R sport bike. It was originally released in 1994 as the B model (B1 to B4 with B1 for 1994, B2 for 1995, ...) with revisions in 1998 (C model, C1 & C2), in 2000 (E model, E1 & E2) and 2002 (F model, F1 & F2) which, as an example, are commonly written as ZX-900E1 for the 2000 model year.
