From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
The Kawasaki KX100 is a 2-stroke motorcycle manufactured by Kawasaki. The KX100 is usually raced in the 125cc class in motocross races because there are only a few 100cc motorcycles of different brands. Its predicessor was the KX80 bigwheel. The bike offered a good transition between the traditional 80cc bikes with 14 inch rear tires to a larger 16 inch one. Longer travel suspension was added but otherwise the bikes are the same. The Bigwheel was produced until 1993 when the engine bore was increased to 100cc. The Kx100 has the best power to weight ratio out of thw full kawasaki line.
