Kavinsky

Kavinsky is a French electro artist, and has released two EPs on the Record makers label: Teddy Boy in 2006 and 1986 (named after his car accident) in 2007. He has been remixed by Mr. Oizo, Arpanet and SebastiAn. In 2007 he will tour alongside Daft Punk, The Rapture, and SebastiAn.

Kavinsky's birthplace, upbringing, and early history are unknown. What is known about him is the tale of his car accident in 1986. He was driving on a road outside of Poinsat, France at well over 120 miles per hour when he hit a power line pole and ejected himself through the windshield of his '86 Ferrari Testarossa, killing himself instantly. He was brought to Ateliers hospital in Poinsat where he was revived but only briefly. He died again, but got off of his stretcher, raped a paramedic and walked out of the hospital and wasn't seen or heard from until 2006 when he released his Teddy Boy EP.
