Kaveh Yaghmaei

Kaveh Yaghmaei (Persian: کاوه یغمایی , born 1968- ) is an Iranian prestigious rock musician. He is the eldest son on Iranian legendary singer and musician Kourosh Yaghmaei.

[edit] Early career
He started learning music at age 8 when he attended to Tehran Advanced School of Music and also started learning Piano with Iranian teacher Ms Novin Afrooz. At that time, he also started playing the guitar in his favorite style Rock and learning to compose music from his father and two uncles (Kamran and Kambiz Yaghmaei).
In 1981, Tehran Music School was closed following the Islamic Revolution in Iran. It was re-opened after few years and Kaveh graduated, while playing the flute by force of School new administration, from the boy's music school. He then began his professional career of composing and recording music in 1984 and in 1993, Kaveh played his first concert and also first Rock concert in Iran after the revolution collaborating with Babak Amini at Bahman Hall. In 1996, Kaveh entered the Islamic Azad University, during which he started playing classical guitar.

In 2005 after his album rejected by Ministry of Culture and Islamic Guidance of Iran, he immigrated to Vancouver, Canada with his wife and their twins.
