Kaushal is the temple of Kaushalya Mata, the mother of Lord Rama. It is located at Arang, a famous temple town in Chhattisgarh 30 km from Raipur. It is stated that the region was famous as Kaushal Pradesh.

Kaushal also means Clever or Perfect or Skillful/Skilled
