[edit] Mission Early College High School Article
hey there, I'm user:vinarm and I just contributed an article on Mission Early College High School, can you please help me? Apparently, you made some changes, I suppose because I didn't make it correctly. Please show me what I did wrong, so I can learn.

Hi.
I just thought that since you use Firefox, you might be interested in User:Cacycle/wikEd. It's a WYMIWYG editor for Firefox. It rocks.

[edit] Just a question...
Do you know anybody at Pittsburgh State? (Recent vandalism) I've issued them with a Test 4 warning... hope that'll make them stop. (I find the techniques that vandals user very funny).

[edit] Vandalproof
Now that 1.35 came out... and I no longer have the errors.. I LOVE IT!!! ThePurpleMonkey(talk•portal•contribs) 01:19, 1 March 2007 (UTC)
- Two things
-
- NOW WHO'S GETTING THE ERRORS ON VP (sticks tounge out) ((sorry... I just had to say that)
- No, I'm not getting the error in VP
- I added your name to the VP Whitelist.

-
- What do I do about this? WP:AIV, WP:AN/I.. what? Thanks! ThePurpleMonkey(talk•portal•contribs) 01:01, 3 March 2007 (UTC)
- (I am answering you here for obvious reasons) If it were me, I would do nothing (doesn't deserve a response really IMHO). The only other thing I might do, if you really feel you must respond, would be to respond in a highly polite and brief way saying something like, "Thank you for your message on my talk page. I don't mind feedback at all but kindly refrain from using profanity or rudeness of any kind on my talk page." KatalavenoTC 01:27, 3 March 2007 (UTC)

[edit] RFC/discussion of article sulla
Hello, Katalaveno. As a prominent contributor to sulla, you may want to be aware that a request for comments has been filed about it. The RFC can be found by the article's name in this list, and the actual discussion can be found on Talk:sulla, in case you wish to participate. Thank you for your contributions. -- Nick 15:19, 19 March 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Welcome message
Thanks for the welcome message! I had previously used Wikipedia to help with some research I was doing, and made a few unregistered edits. Decided to become a real editor and help out on some of the Scottish articles. User:Thunderwing
[edit] CSIS
Hey, Katalaveno,
I was wondering... for the CSIS thing... do you think it would be better to use Fedora Core 6 or Ubuntu Server/Ubuntu Server? The only differences are
- I like Fedora more, but
- Ubuntu Server already has a LAMP server bundle (Apache, MySQL and PHP) installed.
I wouldn't mind installing all components separately on the Fedora Core box, but I wouldn't mind your input.
(PS: Ubuntu Server has no GUI... and I'm not the best at text based *nix.)
Thanks!

[edit] Shotgun Approach?
You sent me a message accusing me of vandalizing the article "Electrical Engineering." While I commend your anti-vandalism efforts, I did not change the article. Please ensure that in the future, you pinpoint the alleged vandal, rather than merely their IP range. I will not tolerate repeated messages of this nature. Such a shotgun approach is unacceptable. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by Moose156 (talk • contribs) 03:18, 30 March 2007 (UTC).

- Re: Vandalism on Electrical Engineering
- Hi! Thanks for your message on my talk page. As you can see from the history of your talk page, I have never warned Moose156 about any kind of vandalism or anything else. However, if you are referring to this edit link, it was indeed blatant vandalism coming from a user at IP 172.191.7.149. My guess is that this IP number is either shared by many users or is a dynamic IP used by an ISP. Obviously, the warning message was meant for whoever the vandal was; if you happen to use the IP address also, then you might have seen it--it should not be taken personally. Anonymous vandals are warned on the IP's talk page as a matter of policy at Wikipedia (see WP:VANDAL and WP:WARN). Please let me know if you have any further questions or concerns. [edit] Plagiarism in Queen's University Article
The entire history section of Queen's University has been plagiarized off of the school's website. What is wikipedias policy regarding this?
