[edit] Editing the KatsuCon page by KatsuCon members...
I wanted to add to this page but after the Microsoft debacle, I was unsure on how to proceed. Yes, I work for KatsuCon but since I don't get paid for what I do, would that be wrong? I am a department head for Loss Prevention and I generally wanted to add to the content by adding some of the history. We are at number 14 this year. I was going to write an unbiased article, not a fluff piece. I respect Wikipedia's policy where permissions are concerned and I talked it over with KatsuCon Entertainment chairpersons. They're fine with me writing and have even given me contact infornmation for people who were there at the beginning but no longer are involved. I would not be getting paid by anyone. I just saw this article was a stub and since I knew some information, I wanted to contribute.

- It would still be a WP:COI if you add or make any major changes. However, if you can provide reliable sources, as I did above, it can help other editors write a better article. As for writing a more extensive history section, the problem with that is that unless it is verifiable through reliable sources, it would be considered original research. In short, we can publish Katsucon's history unless someone else has published Katsucon's history first or base it on the few reliable sources that do exist. --Farix (Talk) 00:25, 14 February 2007 (UTC)
