Kattuputhur is a panchayat town in Tiruchirappalli district in the Indian state of Tamil Nadu.

In the centre of the town, Zamindars Higher Secondary School is located. From 25 villages in and around Kattuputhur, students are studying here. It has a history of 100 years.
