Katri Helena

Katri Helena (nee Koistinen) Turunen-Kalaoja-Rajala (born 17 March 1945, Tohmajärvi) is a Finnish singer who has been performing since the 1960s. As an artist and a Finnish speaker, she's one of the most popular singers (by sales) in Finland. Ms. Helena is first singer in Finland to have sold more than one million albums. Her most popular album, entitled "Anna Mulle Tähtitaivas", has sold more than 100,000 copies. In a country with only five million inhabitants, this is a huge accomplishment.
Katri Helena has various hits, including "Puhelinlangat laulaa", "Katson sineen taivaan" and "Syysunelma". She has represented Finland two times in the Eurovision Song Contest: in 1979 and 1993.
