Katoen Natie is an international logistics firm which is based in Antwerp, Belgium. The form provides transport coordination, product packaging, and warehousing among other things.

It Canadian facilities, and especially that of Edmonton, are particularily strong in the packaging of petrochemical plastic resin products. Using a FFS system (form, full, and seal), it has the capacity in Edmonton for instance to package several hundred tons a day of polyethylene resin. Though it does not produce the resin itself, it usually strategically allies itself with a manufacturer.

It is surprising in the capitalistic process that the firm's services are not englobed logically and efficiently within the resin producer's corporate structure. However its skill, reputation, results, and flexibility in dealing with clientele has permitted it to forge its own existence with a fire quite rare in the world of trade.
