Katihar District

Katihar District is one of the thirty-seven districts of Bihar state, India, and Katihar town is the administrative headquarters of this district. The district is a part of Purnia Division. The district occupies an area of 3056 kmĀ² and has a population of 2,389,533 (as of 2001).
