Kathleen Island (Tasmania)

Kathleen Island ( island approximately 11 hectares in area located 300 metres off the eastern shore of Port Davey in the Southwest National Park. It has steep cliffs, with the highest point being 72 metres, and it is covered with thick scrub and rainforest. It is a breeding site for Little Penguin and Short-tailed Shearwater. Burrowing seabirds have caused erosion in places[1].
