Kathleen Griffin

Kathleen (Kate) Griffin is the president of the International Confederation of Principals (the worldwide organisation of headteachers and school principals). She has been headteacher of Greenford High School since 1991. She was appointed by the UK government to the board of the Learning and Skills Development Agency and now sits on the board of its successor organisation, the Learning and Skills Network. She is also a board member of the Catholic Education Service and a trustee of WorldWide Volunteering.. From 2000 to 2001 she was president of the Association of School and College Leaders (ASCL) (then SHA). She has been elected an associate member of HMC, and a fellow of the Royal Society of Arts.
