Kathleen Ankers (1919-October 24, 2001) was the scenic designer for NBC's Late Night with David Letterman. She also appeared on Late Night as the NBC Bookmobile lady and as "Peggy, the Foul-Mouthed Chambermaid".

She also appeared on Letterman's CBS Late Show with David Letterman as various characters, including "Helen, the ill-tempered Ticket Lady", from 1993 until 2001.

Her other credits include work as a designer for the ESPN program SportsCenter, the original version of Sale of the Century, The Rosie O'Donnell Show, He Said, She Said, and the 1976 game show The $128,000 Question. For much of her career, which stretched from television's infancy to the turn of the 21st Century, Ankers was a staff designer at NBC, going independent when that network abandoned the practice of staff designers in the 1980s.

Ankers died on October 24, 2001 from lung cancer.
