Katha is a profit-for-all charitable organization. Katha works in the areas of translation, culture and education. Katha Schools bring quality education to children 0-17 living in 54 slum clusters in Delhi. As also to four Lisu Tribal communities of Arunachal Pradesh. Katha Vilasam is the story research and resource centre. Besides being one of India's better publishing houses focussing on literary translations from 21 Indian languages, Katha also works closely with academia.
