[edit] History
Wife to Duncan MacLeod, she was also an Immortal. They got married in Ireland, when she was a pre-Immortal. In their wedding night he stabbed her to death centuries ago, thinking he was doing her a favor and giving her a gift of immortality. But once she became Immortal, she panicked and disappeared. She hated Duncan for centuries and joined Jacob Kell's clan, a group despised by Immortals because of their disregard for the ancient codes, adopting the name of Faith and working as a fashion designer.
One night, in preparation for his battle with Duncan MacLeod, Kell executed all the members of his clan, apparentely including Kate, so he could become more powerful. However, after Duncan killed Kell, she revealed herself to him telling him that Kell choose not to kill her. They decided to try their marriage one more time.
In the film Highlander: Endgame she is portrayed with an Irish, Scottish and North American accent respectively.
Note: On the theatrical version of Highlander: Endgame, the scene when Kate reappears to Duncan after Kell's death was cut. The scene was later inserted in the DVD version.
