Kate Copstick

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Kate Copstick is a Scottish television actress, television presenter, writer and director. She is best known for her roles on the childrens TV shows No. 73 and ChuckleVision. She also played Marlene Marlowe in Marlene Marlowe Investigates.

She was named "Shit Journalist of the Year" in The Liar following her remarkable review of Colin & Fergus at the 2004 Edinburgh Festival. In her review, Copstick confidently informed readers of The Scotsman that Colin & Fergus should "work on their script, which has more weak spots than the Hutton Report"[citation needed]. However three days later, the show was awarded "Best Sketch Show", by the Writers' Guild of Great Britain, primarily for excellent scriptwriting.[citation needed]
