Katarzyna Skowrońska

Katarzyna (Kasia) Ewa Skowrońska (born June 30, 1983) is an international Polish volleyball player. Her full name is Katarzyna, the name Kasia is the short form.
Kasia was born in Warsaw and became interested in volleyball in her early teens after watching her brother play with his club. She advanced quickly through the junior ranks at her club and soon made the Polish national team. She helped her team take home the European Championship Gold Medal in 2003. After her early successes in the national team, Kasia quickly rose to prominence in Poland and is now widely known and admired.
Although highly regarded as an excellent volleyball player, Kasia is equally famous for her personality and good looks, both of which have led to her being labeled as Polish volleyball's pin-up girl. Kasia presently lives and plays volleyball in Vicenza, Italy.
In 2006 she married Jakub Dolata.
