Katarzyna Opalińska
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Katarzyna Opalińska (1682 - 1747) was the daughter of Magnate Jean-Charles Opaliński and his wife Catherine-Sophie-Anne.
In 1698 she married Stanislas Leszczynski, who was (briefly) king of Poland and Duke of Lorraine. In 1703, she gave birth to Marie Leszczynska, the future wife of Louis XV of France. Her tomb is in the church of Notre-Dame-de-Bonsecours, in Nancy, next to her husband and the heart of their daughter.
