Katai Tayama

Tayama Katai (田山 花袋, 1872 January 22-1930 May 13, born Tayama Rokuya) was a Japanese author. His most famous works include Rural Teacher (田舎教師) and Futon (蒲団). He is noted for writing naturalistic I novels which revolve around the author. His writings are considered pseudo-autobiographical.
