Kastelbell-Tschars (German) or Castelbello-Ciardes (Italian) is a comune (municipality) in the autonomous province of Bolzano-Bozen in the Italian region Trentino-Alto Adige/Südtirol, located about 70 km north of Trento and about 40 km northwest of Bolzano. As of 31 December 2004, it had a population of 2,341 and an area of 53.9 km2.[1]

Castelbello-Ciardes/Kastelbell-Tschars borders the following municipalities: Laces/Latsch, Naturno/Naturns, Senales/Schnals and Ultimo/Ulten.
